We are now offering personal training / S&C coaching over live video call.
At first we didn’t want to do this. In a profession that is all about working together in person we didn’t want to dilute the support we usually provide.
But new times require new ways to train. At a time of enforced isolation, contact outside our 4 walls is so important - even if it's over video. Training right now is also so crucial to our physical and mental health.
There are some amazing workouts you can do at home with very little equipment. This period of isolation gives a unique opportunity to train in this way, if you know how.
Join us for 1-2-1 sessions or get your team / friends together remotely online and we will design a PERSONALISED SESSION FOR YOU AND YOUR GOALS that makes use of the equipment and space you have available to you.
Your sessions will be lead by internationally recognised strength and conditioning coach Daniel Lavipour - You can read more about his experience here
Due to the governments most recent advice regarding the corona-virus we have cancelled all upcoming group S&C sessions with immediate effect. The health of our members and wider community is the most important thing right now.
Follow us on social media for updates for updates and to find out when our group S&C sessions are back up and running Twitter: @PerformanceRDY
When we are back up and running here are the details for our group S&C sessions:
Great athletes deserve great strength and conditioning!
Strength and conditioning provides athletes with the physical tools they need to be successful. Importantly it also helps to prevent injuries.
Performance Ready is offering a fantastic opportunity to receive world class strength and conditioning, right at the heart of London’s Olympic Park.
When you sign up online let us know your sport, goals and training experience and we will put together a specific programme for you to follow at each session.
Beginners will focus on mastering the fundamentals and you will be progressed at your own pace. Those who are more experienced will work towards using more advanced training techniques. All athletes will spend time developing strength to prevent injuries in their sport.
Your training will be led by internationally recognised strength and conditioning coach Daniel Lavipour who has worked with:
-Olympic gold medalists and world champions
-The British Olympic Association and the English Institute of Sport
-The New Zealand Olympic Team and NZ “Silver Ferns” Netball Team
And currently works with:
-The FA and the England men's and women's football teams.
-The London Pulse Netball Team
Where are the sessions?
Training is at the London Marathon Community Track
Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park
Is training indoors or outdoors?
Training is indoors in a gym that was purpose-built for the athletes to use during the London 2012 Olympic Games. In some sessions there may be an option to perform some conditioning on the outdoor 400m track however an indoor training option will also be provided (bikes or rowers).
What do I do when I arrive?
Arrive via the entrance to the track which is situated directly next to the West Ham Store. You can make use of the changing facilities here. Once you are ready, walk down the home straight of the track, and just passed the finish line you will find the entrance to the gym. The session will start promptly at the start time. So please arrive a couple minutes early.
Can I park at the venue?
There are 30 car parking spaces that are free to use. There is no guarantee that these will be available, however they rarely all taken.
