About Performance Ready

We are founded to provide strength and conditioning (S&C) support to athletes, teams and schools. We also partner with organisations to support our clients.


We are passionate about using S&C to improve sports performance, increase physical activity, and create opportunity beyond sport and exercise.

Who we are

Head coach and founder Daniel Lavipour, MPhil, BSc (hons), has an immense passion for supporting athletes and young people towards a performance goal as well as encouraging people to become more  physically active.

Daniel currently works as an S&C coach for the FA supporting the England men's and women's football teams as well as being the lead S&C coach for the London Pulse netball team who play in the Super-league. He also draws on significant experience having led multiple national S&C programmes in the United Kingdom and New Zealand working for The British Olympic Association, the English Institute of Sport, High Performance Sport New Zealand and multiple national sporting organisations. He has coached a large number of international and professional athletes in range of sports including supporting several athletes to olympic and world championship gold medals.

Daniel also holds significant experience in rehabilitating injuries where he was the national lead rehabilitation S&C coach for Team GB. He  has coached a decathlete at a several major championships and has worked for many years in elite netball including with the New Zealand "Silver Ferns" national team. He has also presented at national and international conferences on a range of topics within S&C. 

Daniel has also worked extensively with young athletes in elite sport and school physical education and has developed a strength and conditioning programme for schools to follow.
