Training together in new times

Who would have thought we would be where we are today. Things have chanced so quickly and it is truly devastating to see the effects of the Coronavirus around the world. Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone near and far.

I can't believe that only last week I was still in the gym with Performance Ready, London Pulse and the FA. Since then international football has been put on hold as well as the Netball Super League. With a heavy heart I also suspended our weekly group S&C sessions in the Olympic Park. Right now the health of our communities and entire world is all that matters.

Whilst sport in its usual form is not possible, the act of daily exercise has perhaps never been more important. The health benefits don't need mentioning but importantly in times like these exercise can anchor a day giving it purpose and routine. For many, training towards a goal and the process of daily self improvement is so fundamental to who we are. It must continue in a safe manner that protects everyone involved and our wider communities.

With gyms now closed and the ability to meet in person not possible we are lucky to live in a time where technology allows us to access each other for support. For those that need help and motivation to train at home we would like to be there for you.
